Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Ability and willingness to float to the NICU as needed (NICU float experience a plus)
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care and therapy to patients across multiple specialties including Heart & Vascular, Cancer, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics
  • Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication administration, and airway management as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress, troubleshoot respiratory equipment, and document care accurately in the medical record
  • Float to the NICU and other units as required; assist with neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs when assigned
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
