This 225-bed facility provides advanced services in Heart & Vascular, Cancer Care, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Michigan or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, telemetry, or similar acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced progressive care environment
• Must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette to qualify as a travel candidate

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality progressive care nursing to patients in the PCU, including cardiac/telemetry monitoring and intermediate care
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions per hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, therapists, and specialty services (thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, pediatric PACU/OR)
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record (EHR/EMR) and communicate updates to physicians and families
• Support transitions of care, patient education, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
