Job Details
- Location: Miami, FL 33133 (Coconut Grove)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (4/27/2026 – 7/27/2026)
- Role: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech – Hospital-based Cardiac Cath & EP Lab
- Setting: On-site, Hospital – 21-bed unit (Cardiac Cath/EP)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
- Call Requirements: 2–3 weekends and some weekdays per month (10–15 calls/month)
- Scrub Color: Baby Blue (provided by institution)
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist / Imaging Technologist
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with Philips and GE imaging systems and Mac Lab preferred
- Proficiency with Meditech and Mac Lab documentation systems
- Comfortable performing in a fast-paced cardiac cath and EP lab environment
- Strong independent work skills and ability to adapt quickly to clinical changes
- ARRT certification or state licensure preferred (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiologic and interventional procedures including Cardiac Cath, Peripheral interventions, Structural Heart procedures, EP Studies/Ablations, and Device Implants
- Assist with bedside and procedural support: Cardioversion, Transesophageal Echo (TEE), Loop Recorder insertion, Tilt table testing
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation using Meditech and Mac Lab documentation systems
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment (Philips/GE) and support cath/EP lab workflows
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiologists, EP physicians, nurses, and techs) to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide dependable coverage for scheduled calls
