Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment | Grafton, WI

Emergency Room Registered Nurse – 15-week travel assignment in Grafton, WI. Night shift ER RN opportunity at a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center serving neonates through geriatrics. (Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required.)

Job Details – ER RN / Travel Nurse

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: Grafton, WI 53024 (Grafton, Wisconsin travel nursing jobs)
• Setting: Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU, Primary Stroke Center
• Assignment Duration: 15 weeks (Start: 5/4/2026, End: 8/15/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Emergency Department / ER nights)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday Expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday

Qualifications & Certifications (ER RN)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience or equivalent critical care experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required
• Clinical skills preferred: PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, cardiac drips (gtts), vasopressors, TPA administration
• Professional appearance; scrubs in any color

Responsibilities – Emergency Room Nursing

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients across the lifespan, including neonatal through geriatric populations
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with chest pain, atrial fibrillation, stroke symptoms, trauma, and other acute conditions
• Perform cardiac monitoring, medication administration, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
• Administer TPA per protocol for appropriate stroke patients and support NIHSS assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, respiratory therapy (RT), pharmacy, and EICU for coordinated patient care
• Document clinical care accurately using Epic EHR
• Participate in hospital orientation (2 days) and 1 unit training shift as part of onboarding
