Travel Nurse Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 20, 2026 – August 19, 2026)
- Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 – $2,720
- Setting: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) — labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery
- Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15); travel nursing night shift
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed, with opportunities for extra shifts
- Location: Aberdeen, WA 98520 — Pacific Northwest travel nursing, Washington coastal community
Required Qualifications — Washington Nursing Jobs
- Current, active RN license in Washington State or compact/multi-state license with required verifications (Nursys verification required)
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (1+ years L&D experience preferred)
- BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP certifications required
- 6-hour suicide prevention training completed (per state verification requirements)
- STABLE training preferred but not required
- Ability to scrub is a plus; prior experience with Meditech or similar EHR helpful
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform assessments, administer medications, and assist with vaginal and assisted deliveries
- Support newborn care in the nursery, perform initial newborn assessments, and provide postpartum education to patients and families
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiology, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR (Meditech familiarity a plus) and uphold patient safety and quality standards
