• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 – $1,860
• Location: Aberdeen, Washington (Zip: 98520) — Washington surgical tech jobs / Grays Harbor area
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 12 Hour Rotating; hours may vary according to OR schedule; on-call hours required
• Employment Type: Travel Surgical Technologist / On-site (Hospital, Perioperative/OR, PACU, Day Surgery)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Current certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (CST)
• Minimum 1 year of hospital operating room (OR) surgical technologist experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist course or equivalent experience
• Current Washington State license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of asepsis, sterile technique, and perioperative processes
• Ability to work efficiently and skillfully under stressful circumstances, including on-call rotations
• Physical ability to lift, pull, and push as required by the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel surgical technologist experience or other travel healthcare jobs
• Experience supporting multiple specialties in the OR, PACU, and Day Surgery
• Familiarity with instrument counts, sterile tray setup, and efficient room turnover

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative support across the OR, PACU, and Day Surgery areas as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Prepare and maintain assigned areas clean, sanitary, and aseptic; set up sterile instrument trays and sterile fields
• Assist surgical staff with preparation of equipment and supplies for procedures and ensure proper instrumentation availability
• Support the surgical team during procedures, assist with counts, and help ensure patient safety and sterile technique
• Perform clerical or non-nursing administrative duties as needed related to OR operations
• Demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making consistent with Surgical Technologist knowledge and skills
• Assume other duties as assigned by the Director or designee to support OR efficiency and patient care
