Job Details — Travel Nurse (Mother-Baby / Postpartum)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• Shift: Night shift — 3 x 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 – $1,930
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend days per contract
• Floating: May float to Issaquah and Edmonds campuses (Postpartum) and to Labor & Delivery recovery as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact licenses honored) — ideal for travel RN applicants
• Minimum 2 years recent Mother/Baby or Postpartum RN experience in a high-volume setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience with high-risk obstetric care (magnesium therapy, Pitocin management, postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal/substance withdrawal)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Comfort managing 4 couplets as the standard assignment
• JADA experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive postpartum and couplet care for diverse mother-baby populations, including high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor and manage patients receiving magnesium sulfate, oxytocin (Pitocin), and other specialized therapies
• Identify and respond to postpartum complications, including hemorrhage and neonatal substance withdrawal
• Provide safe care for up to 4 couplets per night shift as assigned
• Float between campuses (Issaquah, Edmonds) and assist in Labor & Delivery recovery when needed
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: respiratory, IV therapy, pharmacy, PT/OT, social work, and physicians
