Travel Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
• Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 — Boston-area imaging job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 31, 2026 – August 29, 2026)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or PET/CT technologist
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — Nuclear (ARRT[N])
• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• ARRT (CT) registration preferred (CT certification preferred for PET/CT technologists)
• CPR / BLS certified
• Trained and experienced in venipuncture and radiopharmaceutical administration
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records, Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology
• Successful completion of onboarding requirements, including orientation, health screenings, and background checks

Key Responsibilities — Nuclear Medicine / PET/CT Technologist

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclides under physician direction
• Operate and troubleshoot PET/CT and nuclear imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform venipuncture, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and monitor patients during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EPIC and related imaging systems
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and hospital radiation safety policies and regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, chief technologists, and senior technologists to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in department meetings, training, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
