Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey, or compact RN license eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for emergency nursing
• Comfortable responding to emergencies, performing life-saving interventions, and working in a fast-paced ED

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients visiting the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a busy ED setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per provider orders
• Respond to trauma and medical emergencies and perform life-saving interventions as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, techs, and support staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance in the Emergency Department
