Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Location: Keene, New Hampshire 03431 — travel PT job in New Hampshire / Monadnock Region
- Setting: Outpatient Rehab – Oncology Focus (oncology physical therapy, cancer rehabilitation)
- Shift: 8-hour days, 40 hours per week (guaranteed)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 – $2,110
- Employment Type: Travel (Travel Physical Therapist / Travel PT)
- On-Site Position: Must be on-site with personal vehicle
Dress Code
- Personal scrubs of any color or business casual (athleisure/stretchy clothing is acceptable, but no leggings, crop shirts, open toe/back shoes, etc.)
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapist experience — oncology PT experience required (no new grads)
- Active New Hampshire PT license or Compact PT license (must have license in hand at submission)
- Outpatient orthopedic experience required
- EPIC and Expro EMR experience required (experience with EPIC documentation preferred)
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Previous travel assignment experience highly preferred (travel physical therapy jobs experience)
- Competency with standard PT modalities (Estim, Ultrasound, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques)
- Ability to treat a diverse adult patient population across the cancer continuum (diagnosis, rehabilitation, survivorship, palliative care)
- Must have reliable transportation for assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with cancer-related impairments: pain, fatigue, lymphedema, mobility and functional limitations
- Develop individualized, evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programs focused on oncology rehab and survivorship
- Provide patient and caregiver education on recovery strategies, adaptive devices, injury prevention, and energy conservation
- Coordinate care with oncologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive cancer care
- Manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs across the cancer continuum
- Perform 60-minute evaluations and 30–45 minute treatment sessions (one patient at a time)
- Typical caseload: ~2–3 evaluations per day with remaining time for treatments (up to 11 treatments/day)
- Utilize standard PT modalities and document all care in EPIC and Expro systems
- Participate in holiday coverage and contribute to a collaborative outpatient rehab team
