Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,130 – $1,210
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Setting: Hospital Radiology / MRI Department — travel patient care tech role
• Shift: 8-hour nights, Monday–Friday (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — night shift radiology job
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Possible call coverage after midnight
• Holiday Coverage: May be required
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent MRI department experience (2 years preferred) — MRI tech aide or patient care tech experience preferred
• Experience with GE MRI equipment (required)
• Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification (required)
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required)
• Completed skills checklist for Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI (current to 1 year, required)
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in profile (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submission (max 5 days)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist MRI Technologists and radiology staff in daily patient care and imaging workflow
• Support patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures, including screening and positioning
• Prepare patients for imaging and ensure proper immobilization and communication throughout procedures
• Maintain MRI suite cleanliness, equipment readiness, and infection control standards
• Collaborate with MRI Techs and Tech Aides — position requires team-based work; never work solo
• Manage a patient load of approximately 9 patients per shift while maintaining high-quality customer service
• Document patient interactions and workflow accurately, using Meditech Expanse when applicable
