Job Details – Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Schedule: Varied: Three 8-hour shifts (3:00pm–11:30pm) during the week and one 12-hour shift (7:00am–7:30pm) every other weekend; holiday rotation required
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (hospital respiratory therapist, cardiopulmonary care)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of current experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing
• RRT Certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Ability to cross-train in cardiopulmonary diagnostics: EKG, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, EEGs
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Traveler must have reliable vehicle for assignment
• Work History and Skills Checklist current to 1 year (pertinent to RRT position)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Permanent address must be included in profile (travelers within 50 miles of facility will not be considered)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide complex cardiopulmonary care and respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders
• Perform technical respiratory therapy duties in the Respiratory Therapy Unit and across inpatient services
• Cross-train and assist with cardiopulmonary diagnostics (EKG, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, EEGs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, cardiology, neuro) to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the medical record and follow hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in holiday rotation and adhere to assigned shift schedules
