Travel Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-week travel assignment in Bowling Green, KY. Orthopedic/Med-Surg RNs with acute care and Meditech experience are encouraged to apply.
Job Details – Travel RN / Orthopedic RN
- Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky (Zip: 42104) — Bowling Green, KY travel nursing opportunity
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 – $1,630 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Setting: Orthopedic and Med-Surg Units (30 and 37 beds respectively)
- Patient Ratio: Typically 6:1
- Documentation System: Meditech (Meditech experience preferred)
Qualifications – Orthopedic RN / Travel Nurse Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting (Orthopedic or Med-Surg preferred)
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to manage a full patient load and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Willingness to float to other inpatient units as needed (travel RN flexibility)
Key Responsibilities – Orthopedic and Med-Surg RN
- Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and med-surg patients as an experienced Orthopedic RN/Travel Nurse
- Collaborate with physicians, patient care technicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and maintain up-to-date medical records
- Support and assist with bedside procedures and post-operative care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and dress code
- Participate in monthly scheduling and fulfill weekend shift requirements
- Float to other units or assist with tasks in CCU and ED as needed—flexible acute care RN role
