• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Location: Bowling Green, KY (zip 42104) — Kentucky travel nurse opportunity
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: ICU/CCU (16 beds) — critical care nurse role
• Patient Ratio: Typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Position Type: Travel Nurse / ICU RN

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required — ICU RN / critical care nursing experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and self-motivation skills
• Ability to float in rotation with core staffing
• Comfortable and experienced with Meditech documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing and patient-centered care in the ICU/CCU setting
• Monitor and manage complex patients using advanced equipment (Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, hemodynamic monitoring)
• Assist with and perform procedures such as central line and dialysis catheter insertions as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Meditech and follow unit protocols
• Participate in unit rotation and support a positive teamwork environment to enhance patient experience
