We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist (EEG tech / Neurodiagnostic Technologist) for a travel assignment at a leading outpatient cardiac device clinic and clinical neurophysiology lab. Work collaboratively to impact patients with heart failure, arrhythmia, and those requiring cardiac procedures while advancing your neurodiagnostic career.

- Location: Burlington, VT 05401 – Nestled on the shores of Lake Champlain; enjoy lakeside views, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant downtown. (EEG jobs in Burlington, Vermont)
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 24, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,810 – $1,940 (competitive travel EEG pay)
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (7:45am–4:15pm or 8:00am–4:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Setting: Outpatient Cardiac Device Clinic, Clinical Neurophysiology Lab (cardiac device clinic, neurodiagnostic testing)
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (travel technologist / travel EEG technologist)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of EEG Technologist experience, including significant pediatric experience (approximately 50% pediatric caseload)
- Current Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) certification; ABRET verification required at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Proficiency in applying electrodes with collodion/gluing technique
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required and non-negotiable)
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation is not accessible)
- Ability to provide complete work history and explain any employment gaps over 90 days
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures for patients with cardiac and neurological conditions, including heart failure and arrhythmias
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to both adult and pediatric populations
- Apply and remove electrodes using collodion technique; ensure quality neurodiagnostic recordings
- Document procedures, patient history, and results accurately in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate closely with the clinical neurophysiology team and outpatient cardiac device clinic staff
- Participate in bi-weekly orientations and team training as needed
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
