Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (Atlanta healthcare)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm – 7:15am), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Contract
• Unit: Surgery – Ground Floor – Operating Room
• Note: No local candidates within 50 miles

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative or surgical nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for use in Georgia or compact RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Proven expertise in a variety of surgical cases: robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, gynecology
• Strong clinical skills, sterile technique, and perioperative documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for diverse surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for robotic, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain strict sterile technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols
• Accurately document patient care, surgical counts, and perioperative notes
