Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Location: Florence, South Carolina (Florence, SC 29505) — travel radiology job in South Carolina
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology (FMC)
• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Yes, rotation with two other techs
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Scrubs: OR scrubs provided by facility
• Charting: Epic (Epic EMR)
• Parking: Free

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required; general IR required, Neuro IR experience preferred
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• SCQRSA certification required
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
• Experience with sterile technique, isolation precautions/PPE, and lead tech responsibilities
• Open to first-time travelers — great opportunity for travel radiologic technologists
• Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and work every third weekend
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must be eligible to work in South Carolina (SC license required or proof of application/walk-through process)
• Must not reside within 60 miles of Florence, SC

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including Interventional CT and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Assist with vascular and non-vascular IR cases, sterile field setup, and sterility maintenance
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 4 cases per tech
• Monitor patients during procedures and perform radiology-related monitoring and stress tests as needed
• Serve as lead tech when assigned and follow radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting in Epic
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations and comply with hospital emergency response policies (including hurricane season June–November)
