• Setting: Acute Care Hospital (255 staffed beds)
• Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts (07:30 – 16:00) with rotating call requirements on weekends and weekdays
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,350 – $2,470
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• End Date: July 27, 2026
• Procedure Rooms: 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, 1 CT-capable room
• Scrub Colors: Black or Caribbean blue

Travel RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice requirements apply)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Interventional Radiology, procedural nursing, or similar acute care setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Meditech charting experience preferred (EMR experience a plus)
• Ability to participate in rotating call schedule (weekdays and weekends)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Fit testing required (must be clean-shaven unless exempted by approved provider letter)
• Must pass drug screening (THC not permitted, including medical marijuana)
• Travel nurses must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify

Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Support a busy 5-room IR suite, assisting in fluoroscopy, ultrasound-guided, and CT-capable procedures
• Manage an average of 10–15 cases per day with efficiency and patient safety focus
• Perform procedural nursing duties including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: radiology techs, respiratory therapy, rapid response, pharmacy, transport, and unit secretaries
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately using Meditech (EMR)
• Participate in rotating call coverage and adhere to hospital policies and infection control standards
