ICU Registered Nurse (Pediatric Cardiac) travel opportunity in Rochester, NY — seeking experienced Pediatric ICU RNs with 2+ years in pediatric cardiac care, active New York RN license, PALS & BLS (AHA). Job Details – Travel RN / Pediatric Cardiac ICU

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including on-call/callback, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Job Requirements – Pediatric Cardiac Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatric cardiac care or pediatric ICU (congenital heart disease preferred)
• Active New York State RN license (required)
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Strong critical care skills, including experience with hemodynamic monitoring and rapid response in a cardiac ICU setting

Responsibilities – Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse

• Deliver comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients with congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data to ensure patient safety and rapid intervention when needed
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiology, cardiac surgery, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary teams for diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up
• Respond to on-call/callback needs and provide care during weekends and holidays as required
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and documentation in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment
