Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC night shift travel nursing job in Omaha, NE. 13-week travel contract with competitive weekly pay to support patient recovery and rehabilitation in a long-term acute care setting.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) – LTAC RN / rehabilitation nursing
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week) – night shift RN
- Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse / Traveling RN
- Start Date: June (ASAP start available)
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (state licensure as applicable)
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required (2 years highly desired)
- Experience in LTAC, sub-acute, surgical, or pediatric settings is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and direct patient care using the nursing process
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety
- Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel
- Promote patient and employee safety in all aspects of care
- Contribute positively to team building and a supportive work environment
- Assume charge responsibilities as requested after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
