Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 (Wilson, North Carolina travel cath lab job)
• Setting: Hospital Cardiac Cath Lab – Interventional Cardiology
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 7, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: 07:00 – 15:30 (8-hour days, 40 hours/week; 4x10 schedule with 30 min lunch)
• On-site Position: Yes
• Orientation: Bi-weekly (dates: 4/13, 4/27, 5/11)
• Position Type: Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab / interventional cardiology setting
• Required certifications: ACLS and RRT or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Education: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) or RCIS credential
• Hands-on experience with cath lab scrubbing and peri-procedural support
• Meditech EHR experience preferred (experience with electronic health records)
• Positive, flexible team-oriented personality and strong communication skills
• Must reside at least 60 miles from Wilson, NC to qualify for travel rate

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures for adult and geriatric patients
• Provide clinical support in the cath lab for interventional cardiology cases (PCI, peripheral interventions)
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo systems
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in the lab and follow sterile technique during procedures
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed and support cross-department vascular procedures
• Support diagnosis and treatment of CAD, PAD, NSTEMI, PE, and DVT
• Adhere to facility policies, wear provided scrubs, and follow dress code
