Job Requirements (Radiologic Technologist / Interventional Radiology)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or Special Procedures
- Current ARRT certification required (ARRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Diagnostic imaging experience preferred (fluoroscopy, angiography, vascular/interventional imaging a plus)
- Ability to meet performance expectations in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Must be able to obtain Nebraska state licensure if required for the assignment
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures with a strong focus on patient safety, radiation safety, and high-quality imaging
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and fluoroscopy systems according to established protocols
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures (examples include angiography, embolization, biopsies) as directed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and support imaging documentation for clinical and billing needs
- Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a travel assignment setting and support cross-functional imaging teams
