Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
• Shift: 12-hour variable day shifts with call; flexibility to cover all shifts required
• Travel Requirement: Must live at least 90 miles from facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience (preferably in perioperative/operating room settings)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• At least 1 year circulating experience
• At least 1 year scrub experience
• Experience as a travel nurse or in multiple OR specialties is a plus

Key Responsibilities (Perioperative / OR RN)

• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, effective patient care in the operating room as an OR RN and perioperative nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for pre-op, intra-op, and immediate post-op phases
• Collect and analyze comprehensive patient data to determine diagnoses and develop nursing interventions
• Prepare and maintain a safe surgical environment; follow aseptic technique and infection control policies
• Provide circulating and/or scrub support as assigned; assist with instrument, supply, and equipment management
• Promote patient safety, high-quality outcomes, and positive patient experience in the OR
• Maintain current nursing competencies and participate in required stroke and perioperative education
• Demonstrate professional judgment, leadership, and strong teamwork within the surgical department
