Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
- Shift: 12-hour variable day shifts with call; flexibility to cover all shifts required
- Travel Requirement: Must live at least 90 miles from facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience (preferably in perioperative/operating room settings)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- At least 1 year circulating experience
- At least 1 year scrub experience
- Experience as a travel nurse or in multiple OR specialties is a plus
Key Responsibilities (Perioperative / OR RN)
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, effective patient care in the operating room as an OR RN and perioperative nurse
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for pre-op, intra-op, and immediate post-op phases
- Collect and analyze comprehensive patient data to determine diagnoses and develop nursing interventions
- Prepare and maintain a safe surgical environment; follow aseptic technique and infection control policies
- Provide circulating and/or scrub support as assigned; assist with instrument, supply, and equipment management
- Promote patient safety, high-quality outcomes, and positive patient experience in the OR
- Maintain current nursing competencies and participate in required stroke and perioperative education
- Demonstrate professional judgment, leadership, and strong teamwork within the surgical department
