• Setting: Child Specialty Unit – Clinic
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – travel therapy jobs in New Hampshire
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• End Date: August 8, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour nights (23:00 – 07:30) — Night shift therapist role
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,470 – $1,580

Job Requirements – Behavioral Health Therapist / Child Therapist

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a therapist in a behavioral or mental health setting
• Certification as a Therapist – Behavioral and Mental Health
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• Ability to work night shifts while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Experience with evidence-based interventions (individual and group therapy) and EMR documentation preferred
• Relevant licenses/certifications (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMHC) are a plus but not required

Responsibilities – Child & Adolescent Therapist

• Provide therapeutic interventions and behavioral health support to children and adolescents in the Child Specialty Unit
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using developmentally appropriate approaches
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, case managers) to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and complete timely EMR entries
• Promote a safe, supportive, and healing environment for all patients and their families
• Coordinate referrals and link families to community resources as needed
