• Contract Length: 8 weeks (May 4, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Endoscopy RN / GI nurse experience (procedure room and prep/post areas)
• Proficient with ERCP, upper/lower endoscopy, EUS, and SpyGlass procedures
• EPIC charting experience required
• Moderate sedation experience and recovery of sedated patients
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to circulate and scrub basic tech cases; experience as circulator or scrub preferred
• Telemetry experience is a plus
• First-time travelers considered upon review

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care for endoscopy and minor operative GI procedures
• Serve as circulating nurse and scrub as needed in the procedure room
• Prepare patients pre-procedure; monitor and recover patients post-procedure
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation; recognize and respond to changes in patient status
• Document all patient care and procedural notes using EPIC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, phlebotomy, and resource nurses
• Follow ASPN guidelines, hospital protocols, and infection control best practices
• Participate in weekend rotation (every other Saturday) and holiday coverage as required
