About the Position

Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Interventional Radiology Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist in Mansfield, Texas. This travel radiologic technologist position supports a modern hospital serving adults and geriatrics just outside Dallas. Ideal for technologists with ARRT (R) or RCIS certification and prior travel experience.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 – $2,790
• Location: Mansfield, TX 76063 – Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) area
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00), rotating day off
• On Call: Required (call schedule every 6 weeks)
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Unit: Cath Lab (50442) – Daily census: 12, 3 procedure rooms

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab experience (coiling and embolic procedures required)
• Travel radiology experience required; experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred
• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required (ARRT-R applicants must hold Texas state license; RCIS applicants exempt from TX license requirement)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA preferred; military acceptable)
• Epic charting experience preferred (electronic health record experience a plus)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Previous charge or lead tech experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with a full range of interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures, including coiling, embolization, angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertion
• Scrub, maintain sterile field, and support sterile technique during procedures
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate specialized imaging and cath lab equipment (fluoroscopy systems, Siemens and related modalities)
• Prep vascular access sites and manage ports, catheters, vascular closure devices, and contrast delivery
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias during procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent and emergent cases as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV/vascular access, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Complete accurate documentation, comply with isolation precautions/PPE protocols, and finish required orientation modules (average 8–12 hours, recorded in Healthstream)
