• Location: Pennington, NJ 08534 (Mercer County, New Jersey)
• Position: ICU Float Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Nurse
• Job Type: 8-week contract (Float Pool RN)
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: May 5, 2026
• Setting: Float Pool (Primary: IMU at Hopewell; may float to RMC, MST, and other applicable units)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and MST experience as an ICU Registered Nurse or critical care nurse
• Active New Jersey (NJ) RN License or Compact RN License required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred (Cerner experience is a plus for float nurses)
• Must be flexible—no block scheduling or special accommodations
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Key Responsibilities

• Float between IMU, RMC, MST, and other units as needed to provide high-quality patient care as a Float Pool RN
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established ICU and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in Cerner EMR
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in required weekend and holiday rotations as a night shift critical care nurse
