Travel Cath Lab RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse
• Location: Key West, FL 33040 — Florida travel nursing job
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• End Date: July 27, 2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10-hour days
• Call: 10-12 days per month (on-call rotation)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,200 – $2,310
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab supporting interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures

Cath Lab RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN license (Florida state license preferred, but not required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional cardiology
• Current ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS certification required
• Ability to take scheduled call (10-12 days/month)
• AHCA clearance required for Florida placements
• Housing within 50 miles of the facility must be secured prior to acceptance

Responsibilities – Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

• Provide high-quality nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor hemodynamics, administer medications, and manage procedural equipment
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, radiology staff, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies, assist with complex procedures, and participate in on-call rotation as required
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety protocols, and adhere to compliance and infection control standards
