Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310 (competitive travel pay)
• Location: Beaumont, TX 77702 — Southeast Texas nuclear medicine jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; may work until 5:00 PM based on census and case load)
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a nuclear medicine setting (NMT experience)
• Nuclear Medicine Technology certification: ARRT (N) or NMTCB
• Texas State Licensure: MRT by Texas Medical Board (TMB)
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Basic computer proficiency for image processing, PACS, and electronic charting
• Prior travel technologist experience or flexibility to work different shifts/campuses preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot nuclear imaging equipment and image processing/archiving systems (PACS)
• Maintain radiation safety protocols when handling radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals
• Complete and maintain daily logs, dose records, and periodic quality assurance (QA) testing required by licensure
• Support other imaging technologists to facilitate efficient patient flow and high-quality clinical care
• Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate unique needs and ensure patient comfort
• Participate in equipment maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and QA activities to support clinical operations
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Promote staff growth, development, and engagement through teamwork and effective communication
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and patient needs
