- Location: Arlington, TX 76015 (North Texas / Dallas–Fort Worth area)
- Position: Dialysis Registered Nurse (Travel RN) — Hemodialysis RN / Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Dialysis travel nurse)
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/2/2026 – End: 5/4/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), rotating weekends
- Hours per Week: 36
- On-call: 5–7 call shifts per 4-week schedule (includes one Sunday 24-hour call shift)
- Hospital Coverage: Medical City Denton, Lewisville, McKinney, Las Colinas, Arlington, North Hills, Alliance (multiple hospital sites in North Texas)
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas — required for travel RN assignment
- Minimum 1 year of acute dialysis experience (Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis) — Dialysis RN / Hemodialysis RN experience preferred
- Ability to work 3 productive 12-hour shifts weekly and participate in rotating weekend and on-call schedules
- BLS (AHA) certification current
- Strong clinical assessment, vascular access monitoring, and dialysis treatment documentation skills (EMR experience a plus)
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments across multiple hospital sites as a Dialysis RN / Travel Dialysis Nurse
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment, including Tablo and Baxter Amia systems
- Assess patients pre-, during, and post-dialysis; monitor vitals, fluid status, and vascular access
- Collaborate with nephrology teams, interdisciplinary staff, and charge nurses to coordinate patient care
- Respond to on-call needs, including one Sunday 24-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow dialysis protocols, and uphold infection control and patient safety standards
