Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist — ARRT (M) preferred or state-equivalent mammography credential
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography, breast imaging, or radiology technology (screening and diagnostic mammography experience preferred)
- Current state licensure or eligibility as required for Miami, FL
- Strong communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment; reliable professionalism for travel healthcare assignments
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures (screening and diagnostic) according to established protocols and state regulations
- Position patients accurately and ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout breast imaging exams
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, perform routine quality control checks, and follow safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and communication with radiologists via PACS/RIS systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient-centered care in breast imaging services
