- Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Columbus healthcare jobs, Ohio)
- Position: Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech – Operating Room (OR) Radiographer, C-arm & O-arm Specialist
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Radiology Technologist)
- Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 28, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,050
- Shift: 4x10-hour days (Second shift, starts ~10:00am or 11:00am)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call: On-call as needed; rotating weekend coverage
- Setting: Operating Room, Outpatient, Inpatient, Level I Trauma Center, Surgical Imaging
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification – Radiography (RT(R)) required
- Valid State of Ohio radiology license or eligibility to obtain (Ohio radiology license)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of OR or trauma radiology experience; preference for Level I Trauma or teaching hospital experience
- Strong proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm intraoperative imaging systems
- Experience with surgical X-ray procedures and perioperative imaging workflows
- Familiarity with Epic charting and electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to float to units of equal acuity; adaptable to fast-paced surgical environments
- Two professional references required (one must be a manager, director, or supervisor)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert perioperative imaging support using C-arm and O-arm systems in the Operating Room
- Perform intraoperative X-ray procedures for a wide range of surgical specialties
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and image quality
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure safe operation of radiology equipment; follow radiation safety protocols
- Document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic health record (Epic preferred)
- Support trauma activations and rapid-response surgical imaging in a Level I Trauma Center
- Participate in continuing education to stay current on radiology and perioperative imaging best practices
