Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,140
• Location: Laurinburg, NC 28352 (Southeastern North Carolina)
• Position: Outpatient Physical Therapist / Travel PT
• Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic (hospital-affiliated)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• No weekends or holidays required
• EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
• First-time travel PTs welcome

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient Physical Therapy experience (orthopedic and/or neurological caseload preferred)
• Active North Carolina PT license or Compact State License required at submission
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two professional references from the past two years (supervisory preferred)

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized outpatient treatment programs for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Treat a broad range of diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehab, neurological conditions (stroke, Parkinson’s, MS), cardiac rehab needs, and chronic pain
• Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs, adaptive devices, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT colleagues, respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans in Epic EMR in a timely, accurate manner
• Float within the hospital as needed to support outpatient and related patient care areas
