• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel Contract)
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED) — Emergency Department Nurse / ER RN role
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860 – $1,960 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Start Date: April 5, 2026
• End Date: July 5, 2026
• Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN assignment

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or compact state—must meet state travel nurse licensing requirements)
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department / ER nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be obtained prior to start)
• Ability to complete New Mexico fingerprinting/background check process (14-day waiver may apply for travelers awaiting results)
• Strong clinical skills in triage, rapid assessment, cardiac monitoring, and emergency interventions
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment as an ED nurse / ER RN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity using ED best practices
• Initiate and manage emergency interventions, including medication administration, wound care, and advanced cardiac life support as needed
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and regulatory requirements
