Travel CVOR RN opportunity in Largo, FL — 13-week assignment for experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room nurses. Join our travel nursing team for a high-acuity perioperative role in Pinellas County, Florida, with easy access to Gulf Coast beaches and the Tampa Bay area.

Key Qualifications (Immediate Consideration)

Active RN license (Florida or compact state), minimum 1 year recent CVOR experience, and AHA BLS required. Ideal candidates have strong perioperative, cardiac OR, and teamwork skills.

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Largo, FL 33770 (Pinellas County; Tampa Bay / Gulf Coast access)
• Shift: 12-hour Days (5:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / CVOR RN

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or a Compact RN license (Florida nursing jobs / travel nursing)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
• AHA BLS certification required
• Available to work every other weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in a surgical environment

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and support perioperative care
• Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures, including thoracic surgery, surgical pathology cases, pediatric OR, and PACU transfers
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to clinical changes during procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and multidisciplinary OR teams
• Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required for travel nursing coverage
