Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500 (travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Florida or valid compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) or cardiac surgery OR experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative nursing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for cardiovascular and cardiac surgery patients
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during cardiovascular procedures; support sterile technique and patient safety
• Monitor patient status in the OR and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation, counts, and uphold patient safety standards for perioperative care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including anesthesiology, perfusion, and post-anesthesia care—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies and schedule, including working scheduled weekends and holidays
