• Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado (Hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, cath lab) — zip code 81601
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 5, 2026 – August 4, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 5x 8-hour day shifts with rotating evening/night/weekend call rotation
• Housing Opportunity: Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio and 1-bedroom apartments available close to the hospital (based on availability)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Echo Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer (TTE/TEE)
• RDCS or ARDMS credential required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Experience with Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, Siemens Origin imaging systems
• Proficient in TTE, TEE, contrast echo (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, exercise and Dobutamine stress echocardiography
• Preferred: left-handed scanner and some Pediatric TTE experience
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from facility (travel assignment requirement)
• Strong communication skills, positive team-oriented attitude, and ability to work in fast-paced hospital and cath lab environments

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo, and contrast studies across hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and cath lab settings
• Operate advanced cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Document procedures, findings, and measurements in EMR systems (Athena, Meditech, PICOM) and communicate results to the cardiology team
• Participate in evening, night, and weekend on-call rotations as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to support patient care and procedural workflows
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards for echocardiography services
