Job Details

• Job Title: Cath Lab Tech / Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,810 – $1,940
• Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Cath Lab (Interventional Cardiology)
• Location: New Port Richey, FL 34655 (Tampa Bay area)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM during the week; 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday (rotating schedule)
• Start Date: April 7, 2026
• End Date: July 7, 2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or cardiovascular technologist
• Cardiac Cath Lab Tech certification required (examples: RCIS, CVT)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current BLS certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional cardiology cases, supporting angiography and PCI when needed
• Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab environment, ensuring all equipment (including fluoroscopy and procedural supplies) is ready and functioning
• Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures and assist with ECG monitoring and documentation
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency cases, including weekends and holidays
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain sterile technique and safety standards
