• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30), 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (travel nurse pay)
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Staffing Ratio: 1:4 RN-to-patient

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Compact State
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• Telemetry and IV drip management experience required
• ESI triage training preferred
• Must comply with 80-mile local radius rule

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess and manage acute and complex cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, sepsis, and diabetic emergencies
• Provide telemetry monitoring and administer IV drips/infusions as indicated
• Perform ESI triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
