- End Date: August 2, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30), 36 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (travel nurse pay)
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Staffing Ratio: 1:4 RN-to-patient
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Compact State
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Telemetry and IV drip management experience required
- ESI triage training preferred
- Must comply with 80-mile local radius rule
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess and manage acute and complex cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, sepsis, and diabetic emergencies
- Provide telemetry monitoring and administer IV drips/infusions as indicated
- Perform ESI triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
