Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Role: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care RN – Travel Nurse
• Setting: Inpatient Critical Care Float Pool (ICU)
• Location: Freeport, IL 61032 (Freeport, Illinois)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30), every other weekend rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Charting System: MEDITECH

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience required (ICU RN / Critical Care RN)
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to float within the critical care pool as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills for collaborative ICU care

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately using MEDITECH
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by providers
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
• Float to other critical care units within the float pool as required
