Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital/acute care setting
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and to support both respiratory therapy and sleep lab services
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skills
• One professional reference from recent work history

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and ABG sampling
• Previous travel respiratory therapist experience or float pool experience
• Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in a hospital/acute care setting
• Perform patient assessments, respiratory treatments, monitoring, and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and ventilators as appropriate
• Accurately document patient care activities in the medical record in a timely manner
• Support the sleep lab with overnight monitoring, interventions, and patient care as needed
