Job Details
- Location: Miami, FL 33133 — Miami healthcare jobs / Florida radiology jobs
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 – $1,970
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology (Main Hospital, 2nd Floor)
- Position Type: On-site travel radiologic technologist (Rad Tech) role
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hospital Radiologic Technologist experience; Interventional Radiology (IR) or Special Procedures experience preferred
- Active ARRT certification (ARRT-RT)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Special Procedures Tech certification preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment and function independently
- Previous travel radiology jobs or travel experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of special procedures including Y90, prostate embolism, tunneled catheter placement, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Operate Philips IR table and imaging equipment; ensure high-quality imaging and radiation safety
- Document procedures and patient data in Meditech and follow hospital documentation standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 8 staff members to provide exceptional patient care in Interventional Radiology
- Participate in on-call rotation (approximately 1 week per month)
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and dress code (OR scrubs provided)
