Job Details — Travel Nursing Assignment

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 10, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse / IR RN / Cath Lab RN
• Setting: Interventional Radiology Unit (IR)
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• On-Call: Average 4–5 weekday call shifts/month (4:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3–4 weekend call shifts/month (Saturday & Sunday, 7:30 AM – 7:30 AM)
• Holiday: 1–2 holidays on-call required
• EMR: Altera Sunrise (Cerner-like; prior experience not required)

Required Qualifications — Interventional Radiology Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience with Interventional Radiology (IR) crossover
• At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Experience performing IR procedures and taking IR call
• Nicotine-free facility compliance
• New graduates are not accepted for this position

Preferred Skills & Clinical Experience

• Fluoroscopy and contrast administration familiarity
• Conscious sedation and procedural monitoring experience
• Vascular access and catheterization support
• Strong documentation skills in the EMR and peri-procedural charting
• Ability to respond to on-call IR procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities — Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

• Assist with and perform interventional radiology procedures, supporting physicians and techs during cases
• Provide high-quality nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures, including patient assessment and monitoring
• Manage on-call responsibilities for IR procedures as scheduled
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation per protocol and respond to patient changes during procedures
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the Altera Sunrise EMR system
• Participate in orientation, unit training, and continuous competency activities
