• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 8, 2026 – July 8, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift RN / travel nurse
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel (travel nurse, travel nursing job)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state) — PCU RN / Acute care RN
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a PCU, step-down, telemetry, or similar acute care setting
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced progressive care environment
• Telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document nursing interventions accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and recovery
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
