• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440 – $2,620
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks (April 20, 2026 – October 19, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Any)
• Setting: Hospital – Central Sterile Department (CSPD), sterile processing / instrument reprocessing
• Location: Pasco, WA (99301) – Tri-Cities, Washington Wine Country; close to rivers, trails, outdoor recreation, and Tri-Cities Airport

Required Qualifications – Sterile Processing / CSPD Manager

• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required (sterile processing technician or supervisor experience preferred)
• Hands-on floor experience in surgical instrument processing, sterilization cycles, and instrument tracking systems
• Change management and project experience preferred (department renovation/efficiency projects)
• BLS required; CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) preferred
• Military medical training, associate degree, or advanced healthcare education accepted
• Strong leadership, team engagement, and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to motivate staff and drive quality improvement

Key Responsibilities – Sterile Processing Manager

• Lead and manage the Central Sterile Department (CSPD), fostering trust, teamwork, and high morale
• Oversee daily sterile processing operations, including decontamination, assembly, instrument sterilization (autoclave/low-temp where applicable), and storage
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (infection control, AAMI guidance, internal QA)
• Drive communication and staff engagement across the team; mentor sterile processing technicians
• Support perioperative services and maintain strong relationships with OR, anesthesia, and surgical teams
• Participate in department renovation planning and implement efficiency improvements and change management initiatives
• Maintain accurate instrument tracking, documentation, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Promote a culture of safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in sterile processing
