Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Night Shift in Fort Thomas, KY. 13-week travel contract; BLS & ACLS required. Join our LTAC team caring for medically complex patients in Northern Kentucky.

Job Details – Travel Nursing Job (LTAC RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Location: Fort Thomas, Kentucky (41075) — Northern Kentucky / Greater Cincinnati area
• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) – LTAC RN, rehabilitation-focused nursing
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Contract RN)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (3 shifts per week, every other weekend) — Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 4, 2026

Job Requirements – Registered Nurse (RN)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky RN or compact RN eligible)
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required (2 years highly desired)
• ICU/Critical Care experience preferred (experience caring for medically complex or ventilated patients is a plus)

Responsibilities – LTAC Nursing & Clinical Duties

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures
• Contribute positively to team building and unit efficiency in the LTAC setting
• Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs
• Assume charge responsibilities as requested after orientation
• Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study
