• Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00), 40 hours per week

Job Requirements (Cardiac OR RN / CVOR)

• Active RN license (current)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac OR (CVOR) or cardiothoracic operating room
• Scrub experience in cardiac procedures required — proven CVOR scrub nurse skills
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative nursing skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment and support optimal patient outcomes

Responsibilities (Cardiac Operating Room Nurse)

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Cardiac Operating Room, including scrubbing for cardiac surgeries
• Assist the surgical team with case preparation, instrumentation, and intraoperative support
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during procedures
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment in compliance with hospital and CVOR protocols
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all perioperative care accurately and in a timely manner
