• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse – Perioperative / Operating Room
• Location: Fayetteville, AR 72704 (Northwest Arkansas)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start Date: 5/11/2026 – End Date: 8/10/2026)
• Shift: Days – 4x10 hour shifts (Tuesday–Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (must hold or be able to obtain Arkansas RN license)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including a mix of Orthopedic (Ortho), Plastic Surgery (Plastics), and OB/GYN cases
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• CNOR certification preferred (perioperative certification)

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care in the operating room, anticipating needs and demonstrating critical thinking and leadership as a surgical nurse
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient care
• Prepare and maintain surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for a variety of procedures (Ortho, Plastics, OB/GYN)
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases and function in circulating and scrub nurse roles as needed
• Communicate with patient families, update physician preference cards, and document perioperative care accurately
• Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in the OR and help maintain AORN, hospital policy, and regulatory standards
• Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act and facility-specific protocols to ensure compliance and patient safety
