Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Endoscopy RN) travel assignment in Wilkes-Barre, PA — 13-week Travel RN role in a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Diagnostic Lab for experienced GI nurses and endoscopy nursing professionals.
Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,350 – $2,470
- Setting: Endoscopy Diagnostic Lab (GI endoscopy)
- Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call: Rotating call (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM) approximately every 8 weeks and about once per week
- Weekends/Holidays: No scheduled weekend hours; no holidays required
- Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 — Pennsylvania travel nursing opportunity
Endoscopy RN Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license (state of Pennsylvania or compact license as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience (GI nurse experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Pre/Post, Tech, and Circulate roles in the endoscopy suite
- Hands-on experience with Basic EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Bravo, EMR, Bronchoscopy/EBUS (negative acceptable)
- Familiarity with Pathfinder, Cryo, ERBE, and RFA equipment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skills for multidisciplinary GI teams
Responsibilities — Endoscopy Nursing & GI Procedures
- Provide high-quality endoscopy nursing care to patients undergoing GI procedures
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient assessments and care, including sedation monitoring and recovery
- Circulate and assist during a variety of endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, etc.)
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized endoscopy equipment and instruments
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiology, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule as required
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control standards, and uphold patient safety protocols
