Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN (Night) — Falmouth, MA. 13-week travel nursing contract for experienced Registered Nurses. Requires 2+ years Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience, current RN license, BLS, IV therapy and phlebotomy skills.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 – $2,480
• Location: Falmouth, MA (02540) — Cape Cod area
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN
• Start Date: May 26, 2026
• End Date: August 22, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm – 7am), every other weekend, rotating holidays — Night Shift RN / Telemetry Nurse
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (FHA Float; may float between FHA and CCH as needed)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required — strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Travel nursing experience preferred (Massachusetts travel nurse experience a plus)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• BLS certification (must be maintained throughout contract)
• Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam — competency in recognizing and responding to arrhythmias
• Must be able to perform own phlebotomy and have IV therapy experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac telemetry; recognize and respond to arrhythmias and urgent cardiac changes
• Administer medications safely, manage IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy
• Provide post-operative and orthopedic nursing care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Document nursing care accurately and timely in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Participate in patient and family teaching, education, and discharge planning to support safe transitions of care
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Follow department and facility standards, policies, and the nursing process to ensure patient safety
• Respond appropriately to emergency and urgent clinical situations as a telemetry-trained RN
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and competency validations throughout the contract
• Other duties as assigned to support patient care and unit operations
